Date: January 13, 1996 -- Coliseum, Charlotte, NC, USA Was shoot to thrill played without Phil hitting the drums in the start? (the extra thing he adds in the beginning of the song)

I don't know. Would like that show myself, wait, other computer....okay, just listened to the 12th's 'Shoot To Thrill', no extra drum lick. My guess is he didn't do it then, but developed it later as a way doing something different. Kinda like the way he did 'Back In Black' in the early days.

I prefer the version without the extra drumlick, it just sounds better in my opinion. He probably did develop it later, but the first tim I heard it I was like "WTF" ?. I wish phil would do the thing he did on BIB in the 80's now when they play, or use one of his older drum sets. I think his new drums sound too "loose", if you know what I mean. Correct me if Im wrong, but did he change the way he drums?

One more question: Have they all quit smoking?

I think that Phil will never reach his power playing drums on BIB and FTATR. But he is old to. The Razos Edge is the last Album which shows AC/DCīs real power. Ballbreaker and Stiff Upper Lip are to of slow. Maybe the new Album would be so good as BIB. I think the still smoking, but i canīt remember seeing Cliff smoking.

i they think they all still do, if one of them would quit it would probably be Brian for obvious reasons.

Cliff does. In the SUL Live DVD, it shows him smoking backstage. Im postive that Brian has, and he sounds great "Chain gang on the road". Which is a good start.

Yeah, it will be great. I dont care how much the tickets are, I am there! Hopfully they will do some old songs like Fly on the wall, Flick of the switch, nervous shakedown, heatseeker, thats the way, fire your gunds, or moneytalks. Rock your heart out wouldnt be bad either.

I know what you mean. Live Wire and Sin City are great songs too. Maybe they play Big Gun as well. They should play Thunderstruck again as opening.

Guns for hire as opener. That would be sweet!
