Other new bands
Ok so besides the obvious Airbourne, and The Answer...what other new wave bands have that classic rock sound to their music? I'm trying to find other bands that are worth listening to that don't sound the same. A couple I did find was Hell City Glamours from Australia and Heaven's Basement from the UK which was formed for the past members of Roadstar. So who else has someone worth listening to?
Wolfmother and volbeat are both new bands and quite popular. I like Wolfmother, I haven't been able to find good bands as well though. Airbourne is definitely my favorite current band but I have yet to see them live, they never tour the US cause the music scene sucks for rock n roll, all that rap and r&b garbage
If you're into 80s metal like I am, there's a newer band called Crashdiet that's really good. They're not really "classic rock" ..more like a sleaze rock band. They're from Sweden. They kinda sound like a cross between Motley Crue and Skid Row. They're my latest "new band" obsession I like them a lot lol!

@suicidehammer That first song was good, I Believe In A Thing Called Love, his voice and that band are something new but guys on youtube commented saying they just split up which is a shame because they are good and I would go and see them. OT: I can't wait to find 4 other guys that want to make rock n roll music, all the dudes my age listen to metal and stuff, while I listen to classic rock and a little metal like Metallica and Priest.
I wish there were other bands that could drive a song like AC/DC, Airbourne are definitely the closet though
AngusRudd: They actually just reunited with the original lineup a couple months ago and played Donington 2011. They're working on a new album as we speak (write).

I've never been into heavy, heavy metal and screamo (sorry guys) but Simple Plan have a few great rock hits that are slightly more upbeat and pop like, but Im really addicted to them. And their lyrics have meanings, so they come across as relative. If you do look them up, I recommend Shut Up.
Screamo sucks. Also Can't stand bands like Bullet For My Valentine, or Fallout Boy. Makes me sick. I like Black Spiders,Airbourne,Buckcherry,Rival Sons, um...let me get back to ya on that, lol That's what I got on the top of my head.
I quite like Chickenfoot too, Hagar still has a powerful voice. Lookin' forward to their follow up album later this year.
Forgot about Jet. They're pretty damn good. I like Rollover DJ and Cold Hard Bitch.
I would recommened to you guys Kissin Dynamite. It's new band with young band member. Between 17 and 20. But they make nice song. Check out My Religion or Addicted to Metal
