does any person know how many times given the dog a bone was played live ?

In the concert history, there are 4 entries in the set lists. I'd guess it was played for most of the first shows on that tour, but dropped once the main tour kicked off. http://acdc-bootlegs.com/concerthistory/?action=viewresults&song=Given

I wish they kept it in the setlist for the BIB tour, along with playing other tracks from the album which were never played.

There is a rumor that Given the dog a bone was played in Sheffield City Hall, Sheffield, England On the 27th of October 1980, unless there is someone that has been there at that show or a bootleg exists, There is a lot doubt whether it was played or not, the link I have posted is not actual evidence it was played there, its just proof of such rumor
