Early 1974 video footage uncovered..
This link was provided by a guy who works with the ABC and has gone on an extensive hunt to find all the missing Countdown episodes, which as you all know were destroyed for the most part from 1974 to 1978. He found this little snippet of another early ABC awards program, which was not wiped and which contains about 20 little snippets of various performances, each about 2 seconds long. Amongst these lies the second oldest known piece of AC/DC video footage. Unfortunately, it is only around 2 seconds, however it has been confirmed by their research to be from the 20/12/1974 episode of Countdown - AKA the Angus As Zorro clip of Baby Please Don't Go. Check it out. Also, he has found some interesting info on what actually survives from the Countdown archives, and his lists include some info about AC/DC footage and unknown promo dates and episodes, taken from the ABC archives. Video (snippet is around 0:30) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7K14zSmUhiA Website: http://1970scountdown.atspace.com/index.html
