Hotwheels AC/DC Tour/Roadie Hauler??
Ok, I was searching for some AC/DC memorabillia on Ebay and came across this Hotwheels Tour/Roadie Hauler toy and was wondering if this was a legit item and if the price was worth it? I like to collect different and rare things, but not sure if this is something worth getting or a waste of $$? http://www.ebay.com/itm/HotWheels-BRAND-NEW-TOUR-HAULERS-AC-DC-HIGH-VOLTAGE-/260915720628?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item3cbfc9f1b4
Just checked Amazon and guess it is legit. Only 2 left in stock!!!!! http://www.amazon.com/Hot-Wheels-Tour-Haulers-Vehicle/dp/B0060RZIWC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1324163969&sr=8-2 Surprised the AC/DC official site did not have any news on this as this is then first I came across this. Unless they only have news on merchandise they officially release. Hmmm, will have to add this one on top of my electric fireplace ;)
This is definitely a legit item and very cool in my opinion. I did a Google search for "Hot Wheels Tour Haulers" and was able to find cheaper prices than eBay! I don't think ACDC.com will list every item that has the AC/DC logo on it. There are just too many! Last year I found an AC/DC Electronic Pinball game. It is very cool! Happy Holidays!
^ I agree its cool and that for Mattel to put out one of their Hot Wheels featuring an AC/DC Tour Hauler is very nice. I like the design they went with (High Voltage) out of all the album covers they could have used to put on the truck. I will wait for a cheaper price to pay as you mentioned since I too saw some for $19.99 and will try to see if there are any ones lower than this. Happy Holidays Meanstreak ;)
Here is a link to Rock.com, the online store I got my electronic pinball game from last year. I was surprised to see that this store still had this item available. http://store.rock.com/ac-dc-game-tabletop-pinball-machine-30164.html Happy Holidays to you, too, ShakedownIce! :)
That pinball game is cool. What kind of sounds does it make and how are the lights???
It makes normal pinball sounds and lights flash when ball hits center bumpers, just like a regular pinball machine. The scoreboard does not light up though.
