mate, it's typical media rumors. They're very good at that sorta things. tell ya what, id be goin if they played, and especially it the mighty Hawks get it (which is looking VERY likely at this stage!)

This rumour appears literally every year. It's height was probably when people thought it may coincide with the Black Ice tour. For those unaware, the Australian Football League (AFL) got Meat Loaf to play at the Grand Final and it was embarrassing, even to watch. So it wouldn't surprise me if they legitimately tried to get AC/DC to play there just to make up for that waste of money. But I wouldn't hold my breath...
